Louisville City Council Meeting
July 15, 2003

Police Chief's report, which determined there was no misconduct on the officer's part.
He voiced his agreement with the Police Chief Goodman's report.

Davidson reported on the Mayors along the Turnpike meetings in Washington, D.C.,
where they have been lobbying for federal money for the US 36 Corridor. The
committee met with Senators Allard, Campbell, and staff members of Congressmen Bob
Beauprez and Mark Udall. He stated the meetings went well, however some hurdles were
discovered. He noted the view of most of the Congressional staff is a continued
resolution rather than a new bill, which means the same amount of money, and new
projects would probably not be added.

Keany reminded Council of the Concert in the Park series, which begins this Thursday,
July 17, at Lake Park.

Sisk reported on the Senior Advisory Board Meeting, where the members adopted a
constitution and bylaws. He noted the framework in which they presently operate has not
changed. He stated the Senior Board appreciates Council's support.

ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: Sisk moved-for adjournment (8:55 p.m.), seconded by Keany. All in favor.

ATTEST:

Nancy Varrq, City Clerk

Tom Davidson, Mayor

11
