Topakas Schedule Special City Council meetings for July 26 and August 12, 2003 Cancel Regular City Council meeting of August 5, 2003 PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA George & Charlie Haydock, 544 West Spruce Way, Louisville, CO, thanked the City for allowing the "Spirit" Marching Band to use the Recreation Center. Lynn O'Connor, 833 W. Mulberry Street, Louisville, CO, also thanked the City and Recreation Staff for allowing the "Spirit" Marching Band to use the Recreation Center. Chris O'Connor, 833 W. Mulberry Street, Louisville CO, thanked Council for welcoming the "Spirit" Marching Band to Louisville, and noted Monarch School band participated in this event. COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA None. REGULAR BUSINESS APPOINTMENTS TO CITY OF LOUISVILLE BOARDS & COMMISSIONS Davidson opened the nominations. Sisk nominated the following persons: To the Building Code Board of Appeals - Bob Van Pelt - a three- year term, expiring January 2005. Mathew Berry - Associate Member - a three-year term expiring January 2006. To the Board of Adjustment - Gary Allison - a six-year term, expiring January 2006 Council member Van Pelt recused herself from the voting. MOTION: Sisk moved the nominated members be appointed to fill the vacancies on City Boards and Commissions, seconded by Levihn. All in favor. Brown abstained, Van Pelt recused. SMOKE-FREE ORDINANCE 2
