She also addressed the RFP process <br />for the Louisville Library consultant and stated the process chosen by Council to award <br />projects is an arduous and costly process for consultants. She urged Council to carefully <br />consider their RFP process for interviewing consultants for City projects. <br /> <br />Council member Don Brown arrived at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported he and Assistant City Manager for Governmental Relations Heather <br />Balser would represent the City of Louisville in the US 36 Mayors and Commissioners <br />Coalition meetings in Washington, D.C. He also reported on the interview process for the <br />consultant for the library project. He explained the committee spent a substantial amount <br />of time conducting five interviews over a two-day period. The committee reviewed the <br />consultants' proposals, and selected three finalists. <br /> <br />Council member Marsella reported on visiting three recently built libraries, some <br />completed by the consultants.
