Louisville City Council Meeting <br />February 3, 2004 <br />Page 8 of 8 <br /> <br />Simmons reported a job offer was extended and accepted by Patricia Leslie for the <br />position of Finance Director. She will be present at the City Council meeting on February <br />17, 2004, and will begin work on February 23, 2004. He also reported the Council met <br />with the Planning Commission to review the proposal received on the guidelines for the <br />Highway 42 and zoning amendment. Staff will bring the proposal before Council at the <br />March 2, 2004 meeting. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Keany informed Council the Business Retention & Development Committee would meet <br />on Wednesday, February 4, at 10:00 a.m., in the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk informed Council of a new open meeting program, scheduled for the )rd <br />Wednesday of each month. The first meeting will be February 18, 2004, from 4:00 to <br />6:00 p.m. He informed Council of an open meeting with the residents on April 7, 2004. <br />The meeting will be televised and questions can be called in or e-mailed. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk recommended the Council consider conducting ward meetings. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />MOTION: <br />Council <br /> <br />ATTEST <br /> <br />Council member Keany moved for adjournment (8:20 p.m.), seconded by <br /> All in favor. <br /> <br /> Cht[r~s S~, 1Vl~yor <br /> <br />Nancy <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
