Louisville City Council Meeting <br />February 17, 2004 <br />Page 11 of 11 <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reviewed the Council's options according to the Louisville <br />Municipal Code. Preliminary PUD conference with the Planning Department, submittal <br />of PUD plan, then allow for non-binding City Council discussion/direction, followed by <br />an application filed with the Planning Department. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Keany reported the next Youth Advisory Committee meeting is <br />Thursday, February 19, 2004. <br /> <br />Council member Clabots reported the Recycling Board is excited about the new <br />members, and are exploring ways to collaborate with Lafayette and Superior to share <br />recycling resources. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported on the Mayors and Commissioners Coalition on the US 36 Corridor <br />meetings in Washington, D.C. The Coalition received good response from state <br />representatives, senators, congress members and their staff members. He commended the <br />efforts of Heather Balser on transportation issues. He stated this is a continuing effort <br />and FasTracks is imperative and a crucial part of the whole process. He would attend a <br />meeting concerning the Northwest Corridor, and the decision to attend this and future <br />meetings hinged on how this will impact our community <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported Louisville native Fred Tesone is being inducted into the Colorado <br />Hall of Fame. Tesone was a Cherry Creek High School football coach. Sisk stated he <br />would like Council to honor him at a future meeting. <br /> <br />Levihn reminded Council of a Water Meeting on Wednesday, February 18th at 7:30 a.m., <br />and reported on the Senior Board meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reported on his tour of the new Police and Court facility and stated it will be <br />a great addition and positive part of our community. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />M~;~I member Brown moved for adjournment (9:25 p.m.), seconded by <br />~. ~ ..t~ t~~'~,/,hn.
