SUBJECT: FOCUS GROUPS TO INFORM CITY MANAGER RECRUITMENT PROCESS <br />DATE: JULY 25, 2017 <br />PAGE2OF2 <br />Ball Aerospace, MCI World Com, T. Rowe Price, American Express, IBM Corporation, <br />and Hewlett Packard. <br />Ms. Ramos describes her facilitation style as relaxed yet focused. Her style is one of <br />appropriate balance between guiding the group when necessary, and allowing the <br />group to "manage its expertise" within a time bound agenda. <br />Ms. Ramos expressed sincere desire to work City Council on the Focus Group process <br />as well as assisting City Council in solidifying their working relationship as City Council <br />members. The proposed scope of work as outlined on page 2 of the Statement of Work <br />(SOW) is flexible and customizable based on the desires of City Council. Ms. Ramos' <br />primary goal is to identify commitments and agreements, as well as desired actions, to <br />move into the future as a successful team. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />$7,500; as this was not an expense included in the 2017 budget, a budget amendment <br />will be required. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Execute the Agreement to Hire June Ramos to provide services outlined in her <br />Statement of Work (SOW). <br />ATTACHMENT(S): <br />1.
