Staff <br />Liaison: Dean Johnson. City Councilwoman: Susan Loo <br />II. Approval of Agenda: Approved <br />III. Approval of Minutes: Motion to approve by Ellen Toon <br />and second by Mark Newland, all board members <br />approve of agenda. <br />IV. Staff Updates: Dean Johnson notified Board of future <br />meetings with community and contractor regarding <br />renovation of Heritage Park playground. Dean also <br />reported that potential reclassification of public and park <br />lands will be discussed with the city attorney to determine <br />the original goals of land use. Classifications of public <br />lands will remain consistent with original intent. <br />V. Board Updates: Susan Loo updated the Board about the <br />City Council's July 6th meeting agenda. Keaton Howe <br />has met as a liaison with his Open Space Board <br />counterpart and discussions continue about the use and <br />stress upon the land with the existing dog parks and dog <br />off leash areas. The PPLAB Board agrees to pursue <br />areas that would be suitable for additional dog parks as <br />long as it meets the PPLAB requirements of noise, safety, <br />parking, and maintenance plans.
