Louisville City Council Meeting <br />May 4, 2004 <br />Page 2 of 11 <br /> <br />Resolution No. 26, 2004- A Resolution Approving a Final PUD <br />Development Plan for a 6,267 Square Foot Banking Facility for the <br />Boulder Valley Credit Union, Including Four Drive-Through Lanes on <br />Lot 3, Coal Creek Business Park <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Richard Lopez, 4450 Arapahoe, Boulder, CO, stated he is the attomey representing the <br />Virginia and Ira Hoyle Family Trust. He addressed the Court declaration on the Hoyle <br />property. He noted the Court found the Hoyle property to be an enclave, and eligible for <br />annexation. He asked Council to annex and zone the Hoyle property Industrial. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk thanked the parents for their dedicated hard work on the after prom event, <br />which was held at the Louisville Recreation Center. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION - ALS AWARENESS MONTH <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk proclaimed the month of May as ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) Awareness <br />Month. He read and presented the proclamation to Martha Simmons, the Executive <br />Director of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of ALS Association. Ms. Simmons accepted the <br />proclamation and thanked Council for recognizing May as ALS Awareness Month. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION - DASH <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Meredyth Muth, Community Facilitator, reviewed the history of the Dash bus service, a <br />two-year program, which began in the fall of 2003. She noted RTD is promoting the <br />Dash Bus Service and introduced Scott Robson, who would outline the summer schedule. <br /> <br />Scott Robson, Boulder County Transportation Director, reviewed the changes in the <br />summer Dash Bus Service, which will be reduced during peak time from 1 O-minutes to <br />15-minutes, and non-peak from 15-minutes to 30-minutes. An express service will be <br />added to the schedule, which will be a direct route from Lafayette to Boulder along South <br />Boulder Road. The Dash Fox mascot distributed T-Shirts to members of Council and <br />those in the audience.
