Louisville City Council Meeting <br />May 4, 2004 <br />Page 6 of 11 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested an Applicant presentation. <br /> <br />David Waldman, 255 Continental View Drive, Louisville, CO, updated Council on the <br />changes to the property's design plan, which was a result of neighborhood meetings. He <br />highlighted changes on the recently prepared plat drawings of the subdivision. He stated <br />the Barnes and Leffingwell families are in agreement with the changes made to the <br />property design plans. Mr. Waldman voiced his confusion and frustration with the <br />information and direction he received from the City Staff. He requested Council <br />approval of the amendment to the Faber Annexation. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />John Troha, 7394 Cortez Lane, Boulder, CO stated he was familiar with the project and <br />supported the Waldman's. <br /> <br />Spencer Guthrie, 1834 W. Barberry Court, Louisville, CO, stated Mr. Waldman has <br />worked on this project for six years. He also supported the project. <br /> <br />Scott Carver, 1094 W. Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO, voiced his support of the <br />project. <br /> <br />Ken Grice, 1057 W. Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, has lived in the neighborhood for <br />18 years and is currently a board member of the Choke Cherry Continental View Estates <br />Home Owners Association. He voiced his support of the project. <br /> <br />Frank Barnes, 225 Continental View Drive, Louisville, voiced his appreciation on Mr. <br />Waldman's efforts to incorporate him into the discussions on the agreement. He inquired <br />whose signatures would be required on the agreement. <br /> <br />Fred Langer, 1764 Continental View Drive, noted that since the Waldman's have lived in <br />the house, the property has been improved. He voiced his support of the project. <br /> <br />Tia Grohne, 1839 Barberry Court, Louisville, CO, felt the proposed changes to the <br />property would definitely improve the neighborhood and open up the view corridors. <br /> <br />Dave Swoboda, 4449 Lee Hill Road, Boulder, CO, stated he is an architect who has <br />worked for the Waldman's. He voiced his belief the best improvement to the house <br />would be to reduce the size of the home. <br /> <br />Dean Leffingwell, 1899 Continental View Drive, Louisville, CO, stated as neighbors of <br />the Waldman's, they were never notified of the plans for the property. He explained <br />there is a framework agreement on the current plans, however he expressed his <br />apprehension that the plans could change. He stated he could not support a change to the <br />annexation agreement at this time. He stated he would work with Mr. Waldman and <br />support a subdivision agreement. <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
