Approval of Resolution No. 23, Series 2008 - A Resolution <br />Approving Agreements Between the City of Louisville and Dutko <br />Washington, LLC and the City of Louisville and Boyagian <br />Consulting, LLC to Furnish Lobbyist Services to the US 36 <br />Mayors and Commissioners Coalition <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />John Flavin, 1554 Cottonwood Avenue, Lafayette, CO addressed the increased <br />traffic the ConocoPhilips development will bring. He urged Council to require <br />ConocoPhillips to mitigate the traffic congestion at their site by supporting public <br />transit, eco passes, and carpooling 1~or their employees. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Councilor Bob Muckle thanked Mr. Flavin for his comments and noted the <br />Council is aware of those issues. Hie explained the City has urged <br />ConocoPhillips to be involved in the US 36 Project. He agreed creative solutions <br />will be needed to access the ConocoPhillips site. <br />Mayor Sisk noted at one time StorageTek had over 4,000 employees at that site. <br />He felt ConocoPhillips would be wonderful corporate citizens and would <br />encourage their employees to use public transit. He stated the City is working <br />diligently on improvements to US 36. He noted ConocoPhillips will receive the <br />Denver Chamber of Commerce "Deal of the Year" award on Wednesday, June <br />4th. He announced the June 10th City Council Study Session will be held in the <br />Library's first floor meeting room at 112:00 p.m. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />
