Resolution No. 38, Series 2008 - A Resolution Approving a Pipeline License Agreement with Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway Company for a Pipeline Crossing Associated with the Dillon Road Project F. Approval of Cancellation of the August 26, 2008 Study Session G. Approval to Reschedule the November 4, 2008 City Council Meeting to November 3, 2008 and the November 11, 2008 City Council Study Session to November 10, 2008 H. Approval to Conduct a Special Budget Meeting on October 1, at 7:00 p.m. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Catherine Campbell, 1031 Willow Place, Louisville, CO requested an amendment to the Louisville Municipal Code, which would allow backyard laying hens. COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Mayor Sisk thanked the City Staff, members of the Boards and Commissions and the Council members for serving the citizens of Louisville. He addressed the citizen survey, where City services were rated and noted the library received a high rating. He explained 2,000 citizen surveys were sent out and nearly 50% of the surveys were completed. He thanked the citizens for their participation and voiced his appreciation to everyone who worked on the citizen survey. He reminded everyone of the Labor Day Festivities and congratulated City Manager Malcolm Fleming on his one 'year anniversary with the City. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT Gity Manager Malcolm Fleming reported on the following: The number of vacancies on various City Boards and Commissions. Applications to fill the vacancies will be accepted through November 3~d Changes to the leaf collection program include more satellite drop-off sites and fewer curb side pick-up services. Information will be included on the City's Website.
