Approval to Conduct a Special Budget Meeting on October 1, at <br />7:00 p.m. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Catherine Campbell, 1031 Willow Place, Louisville, CO requested an amendment <br />to the Louisville Municipal Code, which would allow backyard laying hens. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk thanked the City Staff, members of the Boards and Commissions and <br />the Council members for serving the citizens of Louisville. He addressed the <br />citizen survey, where City services were rated and noted the library received a <br />high rating. He explained 2,000 citizen surveys were sent out and nearly 50% of <br />the surveys were completed. He thanked the citizens for their participation and <br />voiced his appreciation to everyone who worked on the citizen survey. He <br />reminded everyone of the Labor Day Festivities and congratulated City Manager <br />Malcolm Fleming on his one 'year anniversary with the City. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Gity Manager Malcolm Fleming reported on the following: <br />The number of vacancies on various City Boards and Commissions. <br />Applications to fill the vacancies will be accepted through November 3~d <br />Changes to the leaf collection program include more satellite drop-off sites <br />and fewer curb side pick-up services. Information will be included on the <br />City's Website. <br />
