Approval of Cancellation of the November 25 and December 23, <br />2008 Study Sessions <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Alan Sobel, 1408 Kennedy Avenue, Louisville, CO reported on a complaint he <br />filed with the City against Comcast Cable Television. He explained last year <br />Comcast blocked three channels without reducing the fees, and later increased <br />the fees by 32%. He wrote six letters when the three channels were blocked and <br />five letters when the fees were increased. He received a letter from Comcast <br />stating the increased fees were within the guidelines. He outlined Comcast's <br />various violations throughout the Country and asked how the Council will <br />proceed. City Manager Malcolm Fleming stated the City has received Mr. Sobel's <br />letters and will prepare a response. <br />John Leary, 1116 LaFarge Avenue, Louisville, CO reported many nights digital <br />broadcast is not available in LouisvilNe and residents must go to anon-digital <br />television to watch meetings. He coimmended the Council on the Post Office <br />Property purchase. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk reported on the scheduling of a meeting with the Regional <br />Transportation District (RTD) to discuss FasTracks. RTD has suggested two <br />days: Tuesday, October 22nd or Wednesday, October 23rd. He noted the <br />meetings could be held in the morning or the evening. As there were conflicts <br />with the suggested dates, Assistant City Manager Heather Balser will request <br />RTD provide more meeting dates. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Malcolm Fleming reported on the following: <br />
