LCityof
Louisville
Memorandum
To: Business Retention & Development Committee
From: Meredyth Muth, City Clerk
MeredythM@LouisvilleCO.gov/303.335.4536
Date: August 18, 2017
Re: Questions for Board and Commission Applicants
Office of the City Clerk
Starting this year, board and commission applicants will be asked to complete an
application that includes questions specific to the duties of the board to which
they are applying. Below are some suggested questions for applicants for BRaD.
We would like your feedback on these questions and any suggestions you have
for other questions or other wording. The final application will include 2-4
questions that will be approved by the City Council.
Please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions about the new process.
Thanks for taking the time and giving your input.
Questions for consideration:
What is your connection to the Louisville business community?
What is your vision for the Louisville business community?
What do you believe to be one of the biggest challenges facing businesses
today?
In what ways do you think the City of Louisville can be of more assistance to
the business community?
What professional qualifications, skill sets and relevant experiences do you
have for this position (such as educational degrees, specialized training,
service on governing or decision-making boards, etc.)?
What do you see as the role of BRaD in relation to the role of City Council?
6
