PARKS AND RECREATION - MAYOR'S Councilmembers had a copy of the proclama- PROCLAMATION ti.on and Mayor Meier read it in its entirety. Mz•. Bill Elrod accepted the proclamation on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Dept. and stated he was proud to accept this on. behalf of the Parks and Recreation staff anal June being Parks and Recreation month requested that everyone get involved with their recreation programs and the parks. Thanked Mayor and Council very much. RECESS Mayor Meier called a recess at 8:55 P.M. Meeting reconvened at 9:08 P.M. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT ORDINANCE NO. 827 - WATER TAP Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; FEE INCREASES - PUBLIC HEARING Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on second reading and public hearing and certified proper publication. Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper publication of the public hearing notices. Staff presentation - none. Public comments for or against Ordinance No. 827 - none. Public questions - none. Council questions and comments - none. Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. ADOPTION Councilman Luce moved, Councilwoman John- son seconded that Ordinance No. 827 - Water Tap Fee Increases be adopted. Roll call vote: Cussen Yes :Meier Yes :Luce Yes :Morris Yes Johnson Yes :Leary Yes Motion carried unanimously.
