6'5/84 Page -16- <br />who are listening are as proud as he would <br />bE~ to be a member of the City. <br />PARKS AND RECREATION - MAYOR'S Councilmembers had a copy of the proclama- <br />PROCLAMATION ti.on and Mayor Meier read it in its entirety. <br />Mz•. Bill Elrod accepted the proclamation <br />on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Dept. <br />and stated he was proud to accept this <br />on. behalf of the Parks and Recreation staff <br />anal June being Parks and Recreation month <br />requested that everyone get involved with <br />their recreation programs and the parks. <br />Thanked Mayor and Council very much. <br />RECESS Mayor Meier called a recess at 8:55 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 9:08 P.M. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 827 - WATER TAP Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />FEE INCREASES - PUBLIC HEARING Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />on second reading and public hearing and <br />certified proper publication. <br />Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and <br />Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper <br />publication of the public hearing notices. <br />Staff presentation - none. <br />Public comments for or against Ordinance <br />No. 827 - none. <br />Public questions - none. <br />Council questions and comments - none. <br />Mayor Meier closed the public hearing. <br />ADOPTION Councilman Luce moved, Councilwoman John- <br />son seconded that Ordinance No. 827 - <br />Water Tap Fee Increases be adopted. <br />Roll call vote: <br />Cussen Yes <br />:Meier Yes <br />:Luce Yes <br />:Morris Yes <br />Johnson Yes <br />:Leary Yes <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 828 - MAJOR Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />THOROUGHFARE FEE INCREASE Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />PUBLIC HEARING on second reading and public hearing and <br />certified proper publication. <br />Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and <br />Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper <br />publication of the public hearing notices. <br />
