6/5/84 Page -15- <br />Speaking to the time frame for constructing <br />Mr. Pliska's house with the delay of from <br />2-3 months through the Planning Commission <br />process, Administrator Wurl stated the only <br />way he could deal with the delay was for <br />t]he County to issue him a building permit <br />in the County with the understanding that <br />he is going to annex to the City to get <br />the utilities. Normally that wouldn't work <br />e:~cept in this case street improvements <br />are already in. What the City requires <br />in annexation is already in. Administrator <br />Wtzrl stated that the City would not get <br />the Service Expansion Fee nor the building <br />pE:rmit fee . <br />Mz-. Pliska stated that he appreciated the <br />Mayor and Council's time and he would accept <br />their recommendation and withdraw his re- <br />quest for an outside water tap and apply <br />far annexation. Unless he could do that <br />at: this time and follow iup with a letter <br />tc> start that process. He requested that <br />hi.s annexation request be sent to the Plan- <br />ning Commission for due processing. <br />Annexation Request Referred Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Luce <br />to the Planning Commission seconded that Kenneth J. Pliska's annexation <br />request be referred to the Planning Commission <br />for their review and recommendation. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Discussion by Mayor and Council regarding <br />Mr. Pliska's obtaining a building permit <br />from the County so that he could begin <br />construction with the understanding that <br />a water and sewer tap would not be granted <br />until the annexation process has been finalized. <br />with the City. <br />PLISKA - WATER TAP REQUEST Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Cussen seconded <br />TABLED that the Pliska water tap request be tabled <br />indefinitely until other details can be <br />worked out. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Pliska again thanked Council for all <br />th~~ time that was spent on his request. <br />In the beginning he made a remark he would be <br />proud to be part of Louisville. His reaction <br />fo:r preparing for this was one of total co- <br />operation and he hoped that all the people <br />
