5/15/84 Page -4- Mr. Hickey stated that since they had talked with the City Planners about long term things, did any of the Councilmembers have any feel if they were to purchase the parcel whether there would be any kind of a change that would be coming within any reasonable period of time, i.e. 2 years that this could be looked at for annexation and rezoning at that time? He felt that looking at the map it seemed that something would be happening with the land in the future. Councilman Leary Commented that the present Council could only speak for about 18 months; but did not think that there was anything on the horizon that would change the policy as the City has an excess of land zoned in- dustrial. Unless things changed dramatically at CTC he doubted that the policy would change. Mayor Meier Concurred with the other councilmembers that Mr. Hickey should look for a parcel within the urban services area and did not wish to discourage businesses that arse not high tech and of the quality his propsal is in locating in Louisville. He thanked Mr. Hickey for coming this even- ing. COUNCIL ITEMS Administrator Wurl stated one of our BOULDER COUNTY BIKEWAY staff members had indicated an interest COMMITTEE in serving on this committee if Councilman Luce had a conflict of meeting times. John Lanternman was the person interested. John Lanterman Nominated Councilman Luce stated he had a conflict the evening of the Bikeway Committee meeting and nominated John Lanterman to serve on the Boulder County Bikeway Committee. Councilwoman Morris seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. BOULDER COMMUNITY HOSPITAL Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from TASK FORCE - APPOINTMENT Chuck Schmidt, Assistant Rescue Chief of the Louisville Fire Protection District pertinent to the appointment. Bruce Mastriona Appointed Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Luce seconded that Bruce Mastriona be appointed to serve on the Boulder Community Hospital Task Force for the Louisville Fire Protection District. All in favor. Motion carried ur.~animously.
