4/3/84 Page -11- I:t was Mr. Leary's recommendation that before anyone should participate, there should be a better definition of the study design to see whether we could make a decision that met the criteria that we established. Secondly he felt that the issue of who is going to be representing the County or the cities, and how that person is going to receive the policy direction needs to be re- solved. Thirdly, he felt that we offer the suggestion that: this might be a more appropriate study to k~e a part of the Boulder County Compre- hen;~ive Plan update. Staff directed to Attend Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cussen Public Meeting 4/6/84 sect>nded that staff be directed to attend the Public Meeting on April 6th and inform the Commissioners that the City of Louisville takes a stand on the two aforementioned items, and make the suggestion on the third. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously 5-0. RECESS Mayc>r Pro-tem Leary called a recess at 8:35 P.M. Meeting reconvened at 8:45 P.M. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; ORDINANCE #826 - INDECENT Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only EXPOSURE on first reading and the request was for publication. The ordinance was introduced by request of the Police Department. PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED Councilman Luce moved, Councilman Cussen seconded that Ordinance #826 - Indecent Ex- posure be published Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. ARLO WILSON - PENSION Councilmembers had a copy of a memo from the SETTLEMENT City Attorney, as well as a singed copy of a letter from Arlo Wilson accepting settle- ment in the amount of $12,000. Attorney Rautenstraus requested that Council formally authorize payment of the settlement; then adopt resolution #12 which would permit payment. SETTLEMENT PAYMENT AUTHORIZED Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilwoman John- son that we authorize the pension settlement to Arlo Wilson in the amount of $12,000. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously 5-0.
