4/3/84 Page -11- <br />I:t was Mr. Leary's recommendation that before <br />anyone should participate, there should be <br />a better definition of the study design to <br />see whether we could make a decision that <br />met the criteria that we established. <br />Secondly he felt that the issue of who is <br />going to be representing the County or the <br />cities, and how that person is going to <br />receive the policy direction needs to be re- <br />solved. <br />Thirdly, he felt that we offer the suggestion <br />that: this might be a more appropriate study <br />to k~e a part of the Boulder County Compre- <br />hen;~ive Plan update. <br />Staff directed to Attend Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cussen <br />Public Meeting 4/6/84 sect>nded that staff be directed to attend <br />the Public Meeting on April 6th and inform <br />the Commissioners that the City of Louisville <br />takes a stand on the two aforementioned items, <br />and make the suggestion on the third. Question <br />called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously 5-0. <br />RECESS Mayc>r Pro-tem Leary called a recess at 8:35 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 8:45 P.M. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT Councilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />ORDINANCE #826 - INDECENT Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />EXPOSURE on first reading and the request was for <br />publication. The ordinance was introduced <br />by request of the Police Department. <br />PUBLICATION AUTHORIZED Councilman Luce moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Ordinance #826 - Indecent Ex- <br />posure be published Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ARLO WILSON - PENSION Councilmembers had a copy of a memo from the <br />SETTLEMENT City Attorney, as well as a singed copy of <br />a letter from Arlo Wilson accepting settle- <br />ment in the amount of $12,000. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus requested that Council <br />formally authorize payment of the settlement; <br />then adopt resolution #12 which would permit <br />payment. <br />SETTLEMENT PAYMENT AUTHORIZED <br />Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilwoman John- <br />son that we authorize the pension settlement <br />to Arlo Wilson in the amount of $12,000. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously 5-0. <br />
