1/9i/84 Page -6- <br />WATER ATTORNEY - APPOINTMENT Councilman Cussen nominated Jerry Raisch and <br />Raisch and Schimmin Nominated Michael Schimmin. Councilwoman Johnson seconded <br />they nomination for Water Attorney. <br />Steve Williamson Nominated Councilman Leary nominated Steve Williamson <br />for• Water Attorney. Councilman Luce seconded <br />the: nomination. <br />Mayor Meier moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded <br />that the nominations cease. Question called <br />for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Ballot Vote Mayor Meier and Councilmembers Luce, Morris, <br />Woodson, Johnson, Leary and Cussen voted <br />for the Water Attorney by ballot. <br />Administrator Wurl read the ballots aloud. <br />Raisch/Schimmin 2 votes <br />Stephen Williamson 5 votes <br />Stephen Williamson - Water Stephen Williamson appointed Water Attorney <br />Attorney by 5-2 vote. <br />ANNOUNCEMENT OF APPOINTMENTS FINANCE COMMITTEE: Mike Cussen, Chairman <br />BY THE MAYOR - BOARDS, COM- Robert Woodson ( Members) <br />MISSIONS & COMMITTEES Betty Johnson ( ) <br />CITY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION - 2 yr.terms <br />As an explanation for his appointments, Mayor <br />Meier stated that at the time that he and <br />councilmembers interviewed the various appli- <br />cants for the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />there were 2 applications that weren't necessar- <br />ily considered - Mr. Comer and Mr. Mohr, <br />because primarily they were late coming in the <br />mail - one took 10 days to arrive from the <br />City of Boulder to Louisville and the other <br />7-8 days to arrive from its origin point. <br />One of the gentleman was out of town - Mr. <br />Comer and would not be back until today. <br />Mr. Mohr also was available today and in <br />fairness he held the same interview with these <br />two applicants for the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission as council did with the other <br />applicants. It was the Mayor's feeling that <br />it was not the fault of the applicants for <br />Appointed Don Shonkwiler the tardiness of their applications. <br />and Mike Mohr Mayor Meier appointed Don Shonkwiler and <br />Mike Mohr to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />CEMETERY COMMITTEE: Marge Lazuk, Chairman <br />Gene Tavoni <br />Frank Rizzi <br />
