TERMS Meier. <br />LIBRARY BOARD - REQUIRES Nancy Gauss - 5 year term <br />CONSENT OF COUNCIL Kat]he Fletcher - 3 year term completion <br />of 5-year term. <br />CONSENT OF COUNCIL Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Cussen <br />seconded that Council consent to the appoint- <br />menlts of the Mayor of Nancy Gauss and Kathe <br />Fleischer with the specified terms to the <br />Library Board. Question called for. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />HISTORICAL COMMISSION - 5 YEAR Carolyn Conarroe, Suzy Westbrook, Virginia <br />TERMS Caranci, Ivan Urnovitz, and Marian Junior. <br />Mayor Meier stated that he was very pleased <br />with the Historical Commission applicants, <br />as there were more applicants than vacancies. <br />All of them were very qualified and the choice <br />was difficult. <br />COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS - PLANNING Mayor .Meier, Councilmembers Cussen, Leary <br />AND ZONING COMMISSION - 2 Johanson, Woodson, Morris and Luce will vote by <br />;MBER5 - 2 YEAR TERMS ballot for two applicants to the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. <br />Councilman Luce Suggested that in view of the large number <br />of applicants would Mayor Meier consider pro- <br />- cedurally amending that and allowing council- <br />mem:bers to nominate some applicants so that <br />the field could be reduced. <br />Councilman Leary Inquired of the Mayor if these people would <br />be elected by the majority of Council and <br />each candidate would have to get 4 votes? <br />Mayor Meier replied that they would. <br />James Cederberg Nominated Councilman Luce nominated James Cederberg, <br />Councilwoman Morris seconded. <br />Charles Hoffman Nominated Councilman Leary nominated Charles Hoffman. <br />Councilman Woodson seconded. <br />Michael Savage Nominated Councilman Cussen nominated Michael Savage. <br />Councilman Luce seconded. <br />Robert Comer Nominated Mayor Meier nominated Robert Comer. <br />Councilman Cussen seconded. <br />Councilwoman Morris moved that the nominations <br />be closed. Councilman Leary seconded. <br />Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />
