Mr. Stahl <br />suggested that Council give them the oppor- <br />tunity to discuss these issues in house; <br />get back with the staff and if it is appro- <br />priate they would like to discuss these <br />issues informally in a study session of <br />their proposals. He asked if Council wished <br />another draft back or if they had a timetable <br />that they wised to meet with a formalized <br />amended agreement. <br />Mayor Meier stated that Council had a study <br />session November 13th and would like to have <br />a draft with Council's comments incorporated <br />in :it. Mr. Stahl suggested that they write <br />a me=_mo stating Council's comments and clari- <br />fic<~.tions rather than doing the entire draft <br />agreement. He felt this would expedite the <br />process. <br />Council wished to execute the document by <br />their next regular meeting of November 20th. <br />APPOINTMENT OF ASSOCIATE Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from <br />JUDGE Mun_cipal Judge Jim Robinson requesting this <br />appointment and his recommendations. <br />Lee Hawke Appointed Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Cussen seconded <br />that: Lee Hawke be appointed Associate Judge <br />of t:he Municipal Court. <br />Councilman Luce Commented that Council did have an opportunity <br />to interview Mr. Hawke and he felt very com- <br />fortable with the motion. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 845 - INCREASING Couricilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; <br />LICENSE FEES - PUBLIC Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only <br />HEARING on ~;econd reading and public hearing and <br />certified proper publication. <br />Mayor Meier opened the public hearing. <br />Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper pub.li- <br />cation of the public hearing notices. <br />Staff Presentation: <br />Acting City Administrator Rupp stated that the <br />Director of Financial Services provided in- <br />formation pertinent to the fee increases. <br />
