Mr. Stahl suggested that Council give them the oppor- tunity to discuss these issues in house; get back with the staff and if it is appro- priate they would like to discuss these issues informally in a study session of their proposals. He asked if Council wished another draft back or if they had a timetable that they wised to meet with a formalized amended agreement. Mayor Meier stated that Council had a study session November 13th and would like to have a draft with Council's comments incorporated in :it. Mr. Stahl suggested that they write a me=_mo stating Council's comments and clari- fic<~.tions rather than doing the entire draft agreement. He felt this would expedite the process. Council wished to execute the document by their next regular meeting of November 20th. APPOINTMENT OF ASSOCIATE Councilmembers had a copy of a letter from JUDGE Mun_cipal Judge Jim Robinson requesting this appointment and his recommendations. Lee Hawke Appointed Mayor Meier moved, Councilman Cussen seconded that: Lee Hawke be appointed Associate Judge of t:he Municipal Court. Councilman Luce Commented that Council did have an opportunity to interview Mr. Hawke and he felt very com- fortable with the motion. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT ORDINANCE NO. 845 - INCREASING Couricilmembers had a copy of the ordinance; LICENSE FEES - PUBLIC Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only HEARING on ~;econd reading and public hearing and certified proper publication. Mayor Meier opened the public hearing. Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper pub.li- cation of the public hearing notices. Staff Presentation: Acting City Administrator Rupp stated that the Director of Financial Services provided in- formation pertinent to the fee increases.
