9/18/84
Page -28-
Councilwoman Johnson moved, Mayor
Meir seconded that a letter be written
to the Principal of the Elementary School
outlining the specific problems and for
them to deal with it. Vote - 5 Ayes,
Councilmen Cussen and Luce abstained.
Motion carried 5 Ayes, 2 Abstentions.
Councilman Cussen Commented that he had talked about pooling
together the employees at the water treat-
ment plant at one time or another and those at
the sewer treatment plant who have worked
hard and tonight we complimented Director
Asti-Caranci; therefore he would like to
extend that to all staff. It has been a
difficult time with the doubling up in
certain departments and helping and being
of support. Mr. Cussen also stated that
sometimes, as Councilmembers, they may say
that individually but also felt that
it should be said publicly that they are
appreciative of the fine work that is
taking place and people pulling and working
together. He appreciated that.
Mayor Meier commented that he wholeheartedly
agreed with Councilman Cussen.
ADJOURNMENT Councilwoman Johnson moved, Councilman
Fauson seconded that the meeting be adjourned.
All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 12:45 A.M.
