$/21/84 Page -9- <br />Councilman Cussen Commented that he felt Mr. Allen was making <br />an assumption regarding the fact sheet he <br />spoke of. Council will address this tonight <br />on the status of where that is. As a point <br />of clarification, Mr. Rupp and the Council <br />were to obtain that information in the most <br />expedient way and also of being accurate. <br />He was not certain that that information could <br />meet the time line of getting the water notice <br />flier out. Mr. Cussen stated that he would <br />not. want anything to hold up the notice lift- <br />ing the watering restrictions. He agreed <br />that the information requested by Mr. Allen <br />was valuable and would be forthcoming. <br />MOTION TO LIFT WATER Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman John- <br />RESTRICTIONS AFTER AUGUST son seconded that a notice be sent out by <br />30, 1984 mail to all City residents that the present <br />watering schedule 3-2-1 Off shall remain <br />in effect thru Friday August 24, 1984 and <br />a new modified 3 day watering schedule shall <br />begin on Saturday, August 25 beginning with <br />Ward III when watering will be unlimited <br />with no hourly restrictions. This schedule <br />to continue thru Thursday August 30, 1984, <br />after which time the restrictions will be <br />fully lifted. The Department of Community <br />Sez-vices is to provide information on lawn <br />care to all Louisville water users upon re- <br />quest; also that the City encourages all <br />water users in a voluntary conservation <br />program to plan their watering schedule <br />once every 3 days. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Meier direct:e~d~~ Mr. Hioco to place <br />this information on Cable TV for viewers. <br />Councilman Cussen encouraged that these <br />notices be hand walked to the postmaster <br />so that he is aware that Council wishes <br />these to be sent out as quickly as possible. <br />MEiCERING PARKS Bi:11 Schuler, Rocky Mountain Consultants, <br />commented he would like to mention one thing <br />in connection with the metering of the parks. <br />If the Council has the money to do it, he <br />felt it would be appropriate to do this as <br />he thought this was one of the major water <br />users of the City that is not metered. He <br />suggested these be installed and be read <br />
