8/7/84 Page -11- Craig Krueger, McStain Mr. Krueger stated that he didn't have an Enterprises opportunity to meet with Director Karl Kasch and look at the figures as to what single family and multi-family water demands are. They have a meeting scheduled for Thursday morning. Requested that this ordinance be tabled until next Council meeting. He didn't feel that waiting 2 weeks for council to vote on it: would hurt anything. Mr. Krueger felt that if the City rushed in- to this it could have some effects on the cost of housing and put that cost on the type of housing that really isn't creating the demands. Mayor. Meier continued the public hearing and asked if there were any council questions. None. Director of Public Works Kasch stated that his orginal recommendation on this ordinance for the multi-family increase be 80% which would include outside irrigation. He also statE~d that he had some figures and Mr. Krueger had some on the demand for multi- family and due to the moratorium would like to go over these with Mr. Krueger again: ORDINANCE NO. 832 - TABLED Councilman Cussen moved, Councilwoman Morris seconded that Ordinance No. 832 - Multi-Family Water and Sewer Tap Fee Increase be tabled until the next regular Council. meeting. All .in favor. Motion carried unanimously. ORDINANCE NO. 836 - LIQUOR Councilmembers had a copy of the Ordinance; LICENSE FEE INCREASE Attorney Rautenstraus read it by title only on second reading with a public hearing scheduled and certified proper publication. Mayor Meier opened the public hearing and Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper pub- lication of the public hearing notices. Mayor Meier continued the public hearing and asked if there were any public comments for or against Ordinance No. 836 - none. Public questions - none. Council questions or comments - none. Mayor Meier closed the public hearing.
