Louisville City Council Meeting <br />June 1, 2004 <br />Page 12 of 12 <br /> <br />weighted point system. Gateway, Inc. had the highest total amount of points and although <br />Gateway was not the lowest priced of the top three bidders, they received additional <br />points due to having a presence in Colorado. The Gateway bid was $163,000.00. Staff <br />recommends Council award the 2004 Purchase of Computers to Gateway, Inc. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Brown moved that Council award the purchase of new and <br />replacement computers to Gateway, Inc., seconded by Council member Keany. Roll call <br />vote was taken. The motion passed by a vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Attorney Light reported on the Hoyle litigation and on an Initiative Petition to <br />amend the City Charter filed with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons requested Staff reports. <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Julie Boyd reported on the Capital Improvement Projects including <br />the Skate Park, and distributed a letter from the Louisville Resource Conservation <br />Advisory Board. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Tom Phare reported on the City's water supply. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council member Van Pelt reminded Council of the Ward II meeting on Wednesday, June <br />2, 2004.
