Roll Call: PPLAB members present: Shelly Alm, Dave <br />Clabots, Diana Gutowski, Keaton Howe, Mark Newland, <br />Ellen Toon. Staff Liaison: Dean Johnson. <br />II. Approval of Agenda: Agenda was approved <br />unanimously. <br />III. Approval of Minutes: Minutes were approved <br />unanimously. <br />IV. Staff Updates: The tree pruning demonstration with City <br />Forester, Chris Lichty, will take place at the Louisville <br />Arboretum October 7, time to be determined. City Civil <br />Engineer III, Joliette Woodson, will be working on <br />solutions for Washington Street and the large cobble that <br />is a problem for Public Works when they fall into the <br />street. Dean reported that the pilot program for no <br />herbicide use on playgrounds this summer was a <br />success. <br />V. Board Updates: Keaton will be meeting with OSAB <br />member Mike Schantz to continue collaboration between <br />the boards regarding future dog parks. Susan Loo <br />updated the board regarding the Recreation and Senior <br />Center Expansion and Memory Square. <br />VI. Public comments on Items Not on the Agenda: none <br />VII.
