Cto <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO - SINCE h 78 <br />City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />September 26, 2017 <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street <br />8:00 PM <br />Councilmembers Present: Mayor Robert Muckle <br />Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Lipton <br />Councilmember Jay Keany <br />Councilmember Chris Leh <br />Councilmember Susan Loo <br />Councilmember Dennis Maloney <br />Councilmember Ashley Stolzmann <br />Staff Present: <br />Heather Balser, Interim City Manager <br />Aaron DeJong, Economic Development Director <br />Lisa Ritchie, Associate Planner <br />Rob Zuccaro, Planning and Building Safety Director <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />Call to Order— The meeting was called to order at 8:25 pm by Mayor Muckle. <br />Update — 2017 Street Faire <br />Director DeJong reviewed the 2017 Street Faire results saying the eight nights <br />were successful, alcohol sales were up, sponsorship revenues were up, although <br />use of the parking shuttle was down. He stated the event finished in the black by <br />$13,000 even with two nights of poor weather. They added credit card sales this <br />year which was appreciated by attendees and allowed for more information <br />gathering. <br />The event committee has suggestions for 2018: starting 1/2 hour later, including <br />one larger act in the lineup, and expanding to nine nights. They asked if there is <br />interest in a multiyear licensing agreement. They asked if there is any interest in <br />the City replacing the tent with something more permanent. <br />Councilmembers generally discussed if later programming might affect <br />restaurants, attendance, or vendor participation. They discussed how best to not <br />impact the neighbors.
