Approval of Agreement with Hill & Pollock, LLC for Water Attorney <br />Services <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Councilmember Loo thanked the 30 plus volunteers and staff for their work on Davidson <br />Mesa on October 6, 2017. <br />Councilmember Keany asked staff, specifically Public Works and Police Department to <br />bring back suggestions to Council concerning Alder Street as soon as possible. He was <br />looking for things that can be done quickly. Councilmember Maloney also would like <br />Cherry and Bella Vista on that list. Councilmember Loo asked for Mulberry to be added <br />as well <br />Mayor Muckle stated this is why there is a need for a full transportation master plan. <br />Councilmember Leh noted staffs awareness of streets where recent accidents have <br />occurred. He appreciated the comments for Alder Street and other comments we get. <br />He noted items not the agenda can't be discussed in full at a meeting, but would need <br />to be noticed before a conversation of the Council so anyone who wishes could <br />comment. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />Interim City Manager Balser asked Chief Hayes for a short update. <br />Chief Hayes stated they are testing their body cameras and should have one on every <br />officer soon He said the Department is working through the State accreditation process <br />and reviewing all policies of the department The plan is to make an application in early <br />2018 and the hope is to be accredited by June of 2018. <br />Interim City Manager Balser stated Louisville, Lafayette, and Boulder County will be <br />hosting a bike and bus tour to see planning projects in East Boulder County. The start of <br />the tour is Community Park on Saturday morning and is free and open to the public. <br />
