Louisville City Council Meeting August 3, 2004 Page 2 of 5 Approval of Bills Approval of Minutes (7/20/04) Approval of Professional Services Contract for Raw Water Line Interconnect - Eldorado Pipeline Modification Project PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Robert Ferrera, 1026 Turnberry Circle, Louisville, CO, Head Coach of the Louisville Pirates, reported on the team's success at the World Series of Little League Baseball in Steamboat Springs. He thanked the Mayor and City Council for their financial support. He recognized the assistant coaches, Gary Sloan and Dave Bannon and introduced the members of the team. He presented Council with a plaque and the Louisville Pirates team distributed team pins to the members of Council. COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA None. REGULAR BUSINESS 2004 CITIZEN'S SURVEY RESULTS Mayor Pro-Tem Keany requested a Staff presentation. Assistant City Manager for Governmental Relations Heather Balser reported on the 2004 Citizen's Survey. She introduced two representatives from National Research Center, Inc. (NRC), who conducted the survey. National Research Center representatives Shannon Hayden, and Rachel Cooper explained the methods implemented in the 2004 Citizen Survey. Hayden noted 2,000 randomly selected households in Louisville were sent surveys. Various questions were asked relative to the quality of life and evaluation of City services. Hayden reviewed the categories within the survey and the overall results. Mayor Pro-Tern Keany noted the results of the survey are posted on the City's Web Site, and also at the Louisville Library. RESOLUTION NO. 35, SERIES 2004 - A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY-COUNTY CONSERVATION EASEMENT OVER THE WAREMBOURG PARCEL 2 PROPERTY, TO RELEASE A 3.97-ACRE PORTION OF SUCH PROPERTY FROM SUCH CONSERVATION EASEMENT Mayor Pro-Tem Keany requested a Staff presentation.
