Louisville Recreation / Senior Center Expansion <br />City of Louisville <br />Amendment <br />PROJECT EXCLUSIONS <br />The following are items not included in this estimate. <br />1. Architect and Engineer design fees <br />2. Sewer, water, and storm tap and development fees <br />3. Building permit fees including mechanical, electrical, and special trade permits, plan check fees, <br />and plan submission <br />4. The following surveys: <br />a. Property survey and corner pins <br />b. Pre -construction topographic survey <br />c. ALTA or final improvements survey. <br />5. Preparation of a Soils Report and services of a Soils Engineer. <br />6. Security or guard service. Protection against theft and vandalism will consist of a temporary site <br />fence. Builder's Risk coverage protects against loss or damage to the building, but does not cover <br />schedule impacts due to same. <br />7. Covered pedestrian walkways. We will provide separation between the construction site and <br />pedestrians by means of the perimeter security fence. <br />8. Davis Bacon or prevailing wage requirements. <br />9. Damage or costs of repairs to existing utilities incorrectly located by the utility locates agency, or <br />not shown on the documents. <br />10. Testing and inspection costs, including but not limited to the following: <br />a. Hazardous or contaminated materials identification, testing, abatement, removal and <br />disposal fees <br />b. Quality control testing and inspection related to the following: soils, asphalt pavements, <br />caissons, concrete, masonry, steel, and roofing. <br />c. Building envelope testing including air pressurization tests and thermographic imaging. <br />d. Special inspections as required by the authorities having jurisdiction <br />11. Impacts from the plan review comments of the following governmental agencies, which have not <br />been incorporated into the contract documents: <br />a. Site improvement plan (SIP) <br />b. Building department <br />c. Water and/or sewer district <br />d. Fire department <br />e. Health department <br />12. City tree damage penalties. <br />13. Cost and/or schedule impacts resulting from archaeological, historic, or prehistoric discoveries. <br />14. Removal, relocation and/or disposal of any existing subsurface improvements. This would include <br />utility work not identified on the construction drawings. <br />15.
