Dillon Road, Louisville, CO announced the founding of the <br />Broomfield Philharmonic Orchestra & Chorus. Auditions will be held from August 28 <br />through September 2 at the Broomfield High School Choir Room. Rehearsals will start <br />September 14, and will meet thereafter every Tuesday from 7-9 pm. <br /> <br />Howard Pollock, 834 Lincoln Avenue, Louisville, CO presented Council with a <br />Louisville Fire District report. The report consisted of questions and answers relative to <br />the recent transition within the Louisville Fire Protection District. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br /> THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Council member Keany commended the DoWntown Business Association for their <br />summer Street Faire. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk thanked Mayor Pro-Tem Keany for his service during the Mayor's absence. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked Deputy City Manager Julie Boyd to update Council on the upcoming <br />library public meeting. Boyd encouraged the citizens of Louisville to attend an open <br />house, which is scheduled for Monday, August 23rd from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., at the <br />Louisville Public Library. This would be the public's opportunity to see the preliminary <br />drawings and plans of the interior and exterior of the new library and ask questions. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked Assistant City Manager for Governmental Relations Heather Balser to <br />update Council on the McCaslin Interchange. Balser reported the DRCOG <br />Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) has approved the TIP Amendment for three <br />million for the McCaslin Boulevard Interchange. It will go to the Regional <br />Transportation Committee at DRCOG and lastly to the Board for approval in September. <br /> <br /> <br />
