Louisville City Council Meeting <br />September 7, 2004 <br />Page 12 of 12 <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons requested Staff reports: <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Julie Boyd updated Council on the following Capital Projects: Arts <br />Center Bell Tower Reconstruction; Recreation/Senior Center Improvements; Police <br />Department/Municipal Court Building; City Hall Needs Assessment and Remodel; <br />Louisville Public Library Design; Louisville Community Park Development Project; <br />Louisville Skate Park; Callahan Trail Project; Davidson Mesa Trail Project; Street <br />Reconstruction Project, and the SH 42/96th Street Connection Project <br /> <br />Public Works Director Tom Phare reported on the Street Reconstruction Project and the <br />SH 42/96th Street Connection Project. <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons updated Council on the following: New Library Building; <br />renewal process for the Cable TV franchise contract; marketing strategies for the <br />Recreation/Senior Center; and Agenda Items for the September 13 Council study session <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager for Governmental Relations Heather Balser reported on the <br />McCaslin Overpass Project and the funding process through DRCOG. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk explained the first Tuesday in November is the General Election and the <br />regular City Council meeting must be rescheduled. He asked for Council preference on a <br />Monday, November 1, or Wednesday, November 3 meeting date.
