Louisville City Council Meeting <br />September 7, 2004 <br />Page 9 of 12 <br /> <br />Authority as a five-member Board of Commissioners, to be appointed by the Mayor with <br />the approval of City Council. Appointments to the Board were made by the Mayor and <br />approved by City Council on March 16, 2004. The Authority began meeting in June and <br />their work has primarily been administrative in nature. <br /> <br />The Authority discussed changing their name to something that more accurately reflects <br />their mission in the community. At their August 12 meeting, the Commission adopted <br />Resolution No. 04 - 01, to change the name to the Louisville Revitalization Commission. <br />While the Commission operates as a separate legal entity, the Ordinance for City Council <br />action would ratify the name change to the Louisville Revitalization Commission. A <br />Certificate of Name Change will also be filed with the Colorado Secretary of State and <br />the Colorado Department of Local Affairs. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested public comment and hearing none, closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Brown moved for Council approval of Ordinance No. 1454, <br />Series 2004. Council member Levihn seconded the motion. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1455, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE APROVING THE <br />REZONING OF THREE ADJACENT BUT SEPARATELY OWNED PARCELS <br />AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF DILLON ROAD AND SOUTH 96TM <br />STREET FROM AGRICULTURE (A) TO PLANNED COMMUNITY ZONED <br />DISTRICT (PCZD) 1st reading - set public hearing 9/21/04 <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1455, Series 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation and asked Planning Director Paul Wood to <br />explain why a public hearing is being conducted on the first reading of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood explained the first reading of this ordinance was advertised <br />as a public hearing. The public hearing will be completed at the September 21 City <br />Council meeting. Council will have two opportunities to review the proposal. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Planning Director Wood explained there are three applicants; the St. <br />Louis Catholic Parish, (represented by Rev. G. Timothy Gaines), Adrian Games, and <br />Richard and Mary Johnson. The applicants jointly are requesting approval of the St. <br />Louis Parish and Louisville Commercial Park General Development Plan (GDP), thereby <br />rezoning the subject parcel from City of Louisville Agriculture to Planned Community <br />Zone District - Commercial (PCZD-C). The total annexation acreage is 53.95. <br /> <br />General Development Plan: The revised General Development Plan, submitted in August <br />2004, reflects three zones of development. The GDP specifies design and building bulk <br />standard for each sub-zone, which creates a 'gateway' and/or 'transition' to the City of <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br /> <br />
