Louisville City Council Meeting <br />November 3, 2004 <br />Page 10 of 10 <br /> <br />Public Works Director Tom Phare reported on a meeting scheduled by Xcel <br />Energy for November 16. The items of discussions would have a direct impact on <br />the City. He also reported that the signal light at McCaslin and Century would be <br />altered to allow simultaneous east/west traffic movement. <br /> <br />Council member Keany noted that many motorists are unfamiliar with the new lanes on <br />the McCaslin Bridge. He asked if signage is being considered to assist motorists. Public <br />Works Director Phare stated he would discuss this matter with the Traffic Engineer. <br /> <br />Council member Levihn commented that traffic is backing up from the McCaslin <br />Interchange to Cherry Street. He felt the new lanes have created a traffic back-up on the <br />single turning lane at Cherry Street. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council member Keany reported the Youth Advisory Board will meet on Thursday, <br />November 4, 2003. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons informed Council of a Stakeholders Meeting on the evening of <br />Thursday, November 4, 2003, at the Louisville Recreation Center.
