Louisville City Council Meeting
November 16, 2004

Council member Van Pelt voiced concern over the sale of affordable housing. She stated
it would be valuable to have the Louisville Housing Authority review this affordable
housing agreement. She addressed the waiver of fees and stated she did not support
waiving the water and wastewater fees.

Mayor Sisk voiced his support of the proposal for affordable housing. He concurred with
Council member Van Pelt that the water and wastewater fees should not be waived, but
may be delayed until construction. He favored permanency of the affordable housing
status. He recommended continuing the matter to December 21, 2004, to allow the
Louisville Housing Authority to review the agreement.

Council member Keany asked Mr. Pedersen if a delay would impede his ability to market
the units. Pedersen stated it would not. He requested Council review the agreement at an
earlier meeting.

Mayor Sisk appointed Council member Clabots to serve on a committee with Council
member Marsella to review this matter with the Louisville Housing Authority and the
Applicant.

MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue Resolution No. 52, Series 2004, to December
7, 2004, seconded by Council member Keany.
