City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 14, 2017 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />City Attorney Light introduced the request for executive session. <br />Deputy City Clerk Hanson read Section 2.90.050 — Public statement of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, which outlines the topics permitted for discussion in an executive <br />session. <br />City Attorney Light stated the authority to conduct this executive session: Louisville <br />Charter Section 5-2(c), for the purpose of consideration of potential real property <br />acquisitions and dispositions, provided the session is limited as to appraisals and other <br />value estimates and strategy for the real property acquisition or disposition and also <br />authorized by CRS 24-6-402(4)(a). Louisville Charter, Section 5-2(a & b), C.R.S. 24-6- <br />402(4)(f &g) Authorize an executive session for the purpose of documents protected by <br />the mandatory non -disclosure provision of the Colorado Open Records Act; which in <br />this case are records submitted by non -finalist applicants for the City Manager position <br />and for discussion of a personnel matter for informational purposes only. <br />The City Manager is requesting Council convene an executive session for the purpose <br />of consideration of potential real property acquisition concerning property in the <br />Louisville area. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Loo moved the City Council adjourn to executive session for <br />the purpose of consideration of potential real property acquisitions, with regard to <br />properties in the Louisville area, but only as to appraisals and other value estimates and <br />strategy; and the executive session include the City Council, City Manager, Planning <br />Director, Public Works Director, Intergovernmental Affairs Director Megan Davis, Open <br />Space Manager Ember Brignull, and the City Attorney, seconded by Councilmember <br />Stolzmann. All in favor. <br />The Mayor is requesting an executive session for the purpose of consideration of <br />documents protected by the mandatory non -disclosure provisions of the Colorado Open <br />Records Act for consideration of materials submitted by non -finalist applicants for the <br />City Manager position, and discussion of a personnel matter for informational purposes <br />only. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Loo moved the City Council adjourn to executive session for <br />the purpose of consideration of documents protected by the mandatory non -disclosure <br />provisions of the Colorado Open Records Act which in this case are records submitted <br />by non -finalist applicants for the City Manager position and for discussion of a personnel <br />matter for informational purposes only, and that the executive session include the City <br />Attorney, Human Resources Director, and City Council. Seconded by Councilmember <br />Stolzmann. All in favor. <br />City Attorney Light noted the Mayor was not in attendance but would be joining City <br />Council in the executive session. <br />46 <br />
