L <br />City{,, <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO SINCE 1818 <br />Youth Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 2, 2017 <br />LOUISVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />951 SPRUCE ST. <br />6:30-8 pm <br />Call to Order — The meeting was called to order at 6:34pm. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Megan Beasley, Taitum Berryhill, Caelis Hanna, <br />Teddy Hart, Kaylix McClure, Riley Miller, Addison Nakari, Langley Nakari, <br />Brooke Newell, Kaelan Norgard, Logan Pius, Courtney Schumann, <br />Kendall Weideman <br />Board Members Absent: Riley MacQueen, Hayley Obremski, Ainsley <br />Smith <br />Staff Members Present: Jay Keany, Mandy Perera, Jessica Schwartz <br />Approval of Agenda — The agenda was approved by all members. <br />Public Comments on Items not on the Agenda - Public comments of the <br />meeting of November 2, consisted of Addie Nakari looking at the board adopting <br />a trail and it would require 10 hours of service per year. In order to adopt a trail <br />we would have to do this by April. Last year's full year project (Walk Your City) <br />got 52 scans from the signs. Kaylix also told us about the Youth Summit for the <br />2nd Congressional District taking place on 11/18. <br />Visit with Katie Zoss from Louisville Cultural Council- Katie Zoss came from <br />the Louisville Cultural Council to discuss the master plan of the arts for the city, <br />she also talked about the public art policy and if we wanted to add more art to the <br />city. Katie also took ideas from some of the board members of what kind of art <br />they would like to see in Louisville, or some activities that would maybe get the <br />youth involved.
