Louisville City Council Meeting <br />December 7, 2004 <br />Page 10 of 11 <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1459, Series 2004. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to send Ordinance No. 1459, Series 2004, out for <br />publication and set a public hearing for December 21, 2004, seconded by Council <br />member Brown. All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1460, SERIES 2004 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE <br />13 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED "WATER AND <br />SEWERS," BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW CHAPTER 13.36 ENTITLED <br />"STORMWATER - ILLICIT DISCHARGE AND CONSTRUCTION/POST <br />CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS AND REGULATIONS."- 1st reading (set <br />public hearing 12/21/04) <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1460, Series 2004. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to send Ordinance No. 1460, Series 2004, out for <br />publication and set a public hearing for December 21, 2004, seconded by Council <br />member Brown. All in favor. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Bill Simmons updated Council on the implementation of the City Charter <br />Amendments. The City Attorney Light is reviewing, updating and revising the Charter. <br />Procedures are being drafted and will be distributed to Staff members. Training will be <br />scheduled in January for Staff and Boards and Commissions. The fourth posting place for <br />agendas will be the Police/Court facility. A policy will be established for e-mailing <br />minutes and agendas. Staff is investigating methods of distributing citizen handouts to <br />the public at Council meetings. <br /> <br />Council member Brown suggested posting along the trails or at the In-line hockey rink. <br />Council member Keany suggested Council e-mails should be copied to the City Manager <br />to be added to agenda and distributed to the public at meetings. <br /> <br />Deputy City Manager Julie Boyd updated Council on weather related delays of the <br />Highway 42/96th Street Connection Project and the Skate Park Project. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk asked if the Highway 42/96th Street Connection bid process took into <br />consideration weather conditions. Public Works Director Tom Phare explained the rains <br />during the summer left the ground wet for an extended period. <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br /> <br />
