in the markings is due to the red markings showing the actual construction that took <br />place, versus the blue which may have been the layout that was originally intended. <br />GROUND PLAN SKETCH <br />The following photo, included for purposes of showing context, shows 924 Main, 920 <br />Main, and 916 Main in 1948. 916 Main was the location of the Bugdust Pool Hall and is <br />now (in 2016) the location of Creative Framing. John "Bugdust" Madonna operated it in <br />the 1950s and it provided out-of-town and out-of-state businessmen with a place where <br />they could play the dice game "barbuit" and gamble undisturbed. John Madonna was <br />the brother of Rose D'Amato and Pete Madonna. <br />The next photo shows a view of Main Street circa 1948-49 looking south, with Joe's Fruit <br />Store on the left. There is a 7-Up sign on the side of the building. The house at 924 Main <br />had not yet been remodeled. A close-up view is also provided. <br />10 <br />
