IU Cityof Louisville COLORADO . SINCE 1878 PPLAB recommends to City Council to save the 2 cottonwood trees. The Board then proceeded to vote on what type of fencing and trail materials they would recommend to Council. The vote was unanimous for Option 4, wrought iron fencing and a concrete path coming in at an estimated $55,867. VIII. Discussion on Proposed Dog Waste Recycling Program: Dean shared information from a company called EnviroWagg that picks up dog waste from dog parks and recycles it into a safe compost material. This service is in line with Louisville's sustainability efforts. The Board voted unanimously in favor of a pilot program at the Davidson Mesa (DOLA) and Community Park, Dog Park. The estimated cost for this service is $5,200 a year for these two areas. IX. Discussion of City Landscape Standards: The City Planning Department will be updating the 1997 Commercial Development Design Standards & Guidelines next year and would like PPLAB to be a part of the review process. X. 2018 Capital Project Updates: Many projects were approved for the 2018 budget that will involve PPLAB. Several of these are listed under the 2018 goals. XI. Discussion on 2018 Advisory Board Goals: Recommendations for the City Planning Department after reviewing the 1997 Commercial Development Standards & Guidelines. From the Capital Projects update, the Board will be working toward recommendations for medians, educational programs and park's scorecards. The Board's CIP requests that will be submitted in the spring for the next 2 year budget cycle. XII. Agenda Items for Next Meeting: Election of officers. XIII.
