LCity of <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1882 <br />Historical Commission and <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Special Joint Meeting Summary <br />June 28, 2017 <br />Library Public Library Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />6:30 PM <br />Members of the Historic Preservation Commission and Historical Commission met at a special <br />joint meeting to discuss conceptual designs of a proposed Louisville Historical Museum visitor <br />center building. <br />Call to Order — Historical Commission Chairperson Dan Mellish with Historic Preservation <br />Commission Chairperson Lynda Haley called the meeting to order at 6:35 pm. Meeting <br />attendees introduced themselves. <br />Roll Call was taken. The following persons were present: <br />Historical Comm. Members Present: Lynda Haley, Chairperson <br />Mike Koertje <br />Cyndi Thomas <br />Debby Fahey <br />Michael Ulm <br />City Staff Members Present: Beth Barrett, Dir. of Library & Museum Svcs <br />Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator <br />Lauren Trice, Planner I <br />Architects Mike Roybal, Ron Roybal, and Trevor Hill from The Roybal Corporation and <br />members of the public were also present. <br />Presentation by architects: <br />Mike Roybal gave a PowerPoint presentation regarding conceptual designs of the proposed <br />new Louisville Historical Museum visitor center building. He reviewed the Museum's needs as <br />described in the Museum Master Plan and explained considerations for the interior and exterior <br />of the proposed new building, including ADA accessible restrooms and overall ADA <br />accessibility, collection storage space, meeting rooms, and work space.
