Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />December 18, 2017 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />issues this year and had been less hands-on at the business. He noted the <br />licensee takes the issues seriously and noted there was a need for additional <br />personnel. <br />Carlson made a motion to accept the stipulation and agreement. Watson <br />noted he was in support of the agreement; the suspension was significant as <br />were the days now held in abeyance. He seconded the motion. <br />Roll Call Vote: Carlson — yes, Watson — yes, Lipton — yes and Machado — <br />yes. <br />Authority Attorney Gulley asked if there had been an agreement on the days <br />to serve. There was agreement the days of service would be Monday, <br />January 8, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. until Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:59 <br />p.m <br />Machado moved the suspension be served Monday, January 8, 2018 at <br />12:00 a.m. until Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. Carlson <br />seconded. All in favor. <br />Attorney Johnson wanted to note again that the licensee does take these <br />matters seriously. <br />B. Conversation with Chief Hayes <br />Chief Hayes talked about staffing noting the department is in good shape. He <br />stated the department has instituted body cams with instructions about when <br />they are to be on. He noted the department is seeking accreditation. The <br />department had to review all of their processes and after submitting paperwork <br />and getting an assessment, they hope to get approval for accreditation. <br />Police Department Reports <br />A. Incident Report — Henry's — 11/22/17 <br />Sergeant Redard reviewed the report. Authority members discussed the <br />incident. <br />Machado moved the Authority order a show cause hearing for CCR 47-900(A) <br />concerning conduct of the establishment. <br />Authority members discussed what violations should be included in the show <br />cause order. <br />Members suggested the show cause order also include C.R.S. § 12-47- <br />901(9)(a)(I) and (II) concerning taking alcohol from the establishment. <br />
