Muth will give the suggestions to the Planning Staff for inclusion in their public hearings on the Comprehensive Plan Update. Subcommittee Reports Landmark Plaque Design -Whiteman Whiteman reported that the Colorado Center for Community Development at UCD's Architecture and Planning School has a program where they will design the plaques and bid the cost of fabrication. The cost to the City is $400. He asked if he could proceed. Commission members were supportive of moving forward with this and Muth stated that the City could cover the $400 cost. Why Preserve Pamphlet - Koertje/McMenamin Koertje stated he was gathering information on this and will try to present it at the September meeting. Green Build Pamphlet -Lewis/Menza Lewis is gathering information for this. There is still a large disconnect between green building and preservation for many people. She is trying to gather a "facts vs. myths" list and information on how a homeowner can make a historic home sustainable without damaging the historic aspects of the home.
