Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />September 15, 2008 <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />Muckle suggested using local examples whenever possible and including information <br />on how historic homes sell faster and retain a higher value. <br />Update on Demolition Requests -None <br />Discussion/Comments on Planning Department Referrals -None <br />Updates (time permitting) <br />836 & 844 Main Street- None <br />1024 LaFarge Avenue -None <br />824 South Place -Members briefly reviewed the information submitted by Lewis <br />from her visit to the site. They will continue the discussion in October when Lewis in <br />attendance. <br />Ms. Downer's Cabins -None <br />Items from Staff <br />Muth reminded members that letters of reappointment are due November 3. The <br />terms ending this year are Koertje, McMenamin, and Tofte. <br />Muth reminded members that Open Government Training is required once every <br />two years for each member. This fall's training options are: <br />o Wednesday, November 5, 7:00 PM, Council Chambers <br />o Thursday, November 6, 8:30 AM, Council Chambers <br />Muth reminded members that one member must attend a training each year for <br />our CLG requirement. If anyone is interested there is one on November 21 at the <br />Colorado History Museum, 10 AM - 4 PM. <br />Items from Commission Members - Koertje had no new information on a possible joint <br />meeting with Historic Boulder. <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting -None <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM. <br />
