Revitalization Commission <br />Minutes <br />January 8, 2018 <br />Page 2of3 <br />Commissioner Gorsevski asked about the house on Pine and McKinley. Attorney Light <br />said the structure has been subject to ongoing legal action. The City and Planning are <br />aware of it. <br />Lighted turn signs have been installed at intersections on South Boulder Road to remind <br />drivers that pedestrians have the right of way. Commissioner Tofte suggested the light is <br />unique and should be explained. <br />Business Matters of Commission <br />Open Government Packet <br />Attorney Light said the document in today's packet explains open government principles. <br />It is distributed, yearly, to all boards and commissions. He asked everyone to review it. <br />Trainings are held every spring and fall and he encouraged LRC members to attend. <br />Approval of Meeting location Posting Requirements <br />Annual reaffirmation of where agendas will be posted. Motion was made and approved <br />for posting locations. <br />Election of Officers <br />Motion made to retain current officers. Motion was approved unanimously. <br />Chair, Steve Fisher <br />Vice -chair, Roby Lathrop <br />Secretary, Alex Gorsevski <br />Parking structure RFP <br />DeJong reviewed the conceptual design RFP provided. Minimum desired spaces at 250 <br />making the building as flexible as possible. Comment received to include charging <br />stations. He asked for feedback to the RFP. <br />Commissioner Gorsevski said if we asking for a fee, costs should be broken out by <br />tasks. He said the respondents should address impact on local traffic and if street <br />modifications will have to be made. He would like every stall to have conduit run to it for <br />future charging stations. <br />Chair Fisher was confused on how many designs were being asked for. DeJong said he <br />was asking for designs for each of the land orientations. <br />Suggestion to outline the desired meetings so respondents know how many to account <br />for. <br />Intended selection committee will be staff and LRC members. Put in page limit. <br />Commissioner Lathrop agreed with Gorsevski about conduit for charging stations. He <br />proposes a range of spaces desired. <br />Commissioner Tofte brought up Daily Camera article about not needing parking <br />structures in the future. He appreciates the idea to make the structure flexible. <br />
