Local Licensing Authority <br />Minutes <br />January 22, 2018 <br />Page 6of6 <br />Guozhong Liu, applicant, noted they are happy to be in Louisville and plan to run <br />a safe business. He noted the two applicants had already attended training. <br />Carlson moved to approve the transfer of the retail liquor store license. Lipton <br />seconded. All in favor. <br />D. Conversation with Chief Hayes <br />None. <br />E. 2017 Annual Report <br />Authority members approved the annual report. <br />F. Welcome new member Lee Scriggins <br />Members welcomed Ms. Scriggins and noted this meeting was a good one to get <br />a lot of information in a short amount of time. <br />Police Department Reports <br />None. <br />Secretary's Report <br />Hanson noted the inclusion of the Open Government and Ethics Pamphlet for <br />2018 in the packet. She reported there was still an associate member position <br />available on the Authority and encouraged members to let anyone who might be <br />interested know. <br />Authority Attorney's Report <br />Culley noted she would draft a final findings and order pertaining to the show <br />cause hearing for the Authority to consider at their next meeting. <br />Authority Comment <br />Carlson noted his appreciation for the body cam footage during the show cause <br />hearing. Lipton and Machado agreed. <br />Adjourn — Lipton moved to adjourn. Watson seconded. All in favor. The <br />meeting was adjourned at 8:51 p.m. <br />
