Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: Commission Members Present: Commission Members Absent: Staff Members Present: Cyndi Thomas, Vice Caleb Dickinson Michael Ulm Chuck Thomas Hannah Parris Lynda Haley, Chair Debbie Fahey Lauren Trice, Planner II Amelia Brackett, Planning Clerk APPROVAL OF AGENDA Chuck Thomas moved and Dickinson seconded a motion to approve February 12, 2018 agenda. Motion passed by voice vote. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Dickinson moved and Parris seconded a motion to approve the January 22, 2018 minutes. Motion passed by voice vote. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA None. NEW BUSINESS — PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS 721 La Farge Avenue Demolition: A request to demolish the existing residential structure at 721 La Farge Avenue. The subcommittee recommended that the Commission hear this request because they found probable cause to believe that the property may be eligible for designation as a landmark. • Applicant/Owner: Roy Krughoff • Case Manager: Lauren Trice Cyndi Thomas asked for recusals from the Commission. Ulm stated that the applicant was a contractor for Ulm's home, but that he did not feel that constituted a conflict. Trice stated that the request was to demolish the two structures on the La Farge lot, a house and a garage. The house was built in 1890 and was part of Tte Winkler/Dionigi family for seventy-two years, from 1918 to 1990. John "Ring" Dionigi was a prominent citizen, running the town as its primary administrator during the 1940s and 1950s.
