I1.';91- <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -1 c i I <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 12, 2018 <br />City Hall, Council Chambers <br />749 Main Street <br />6:30 PM <br />Call to Order — Vice Chair Cyndi Thomas called the meeting to order at 6:35 P.M. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />Commission Members Present: <br />Commission Members Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Cyndi Thomas, Vice <br />Caleb Dickinson <br />Michael Ulm <br />Chuck Thomas <br />Hannah Parris <br />Lynda Haley, Chair <br />Debbie Fahey <br />Lauren Trice, Planner II <br />Amelia Brackett, Planning Clerk <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Chuck Thomas moved and Dickinson seconded a motion to approve February 12, 2018 <br />agenda. Motion passed by voice vote. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Dickinson moved and Parris seconded a motion to approve the January 22, 2018 minutes. <br />Motion passed by voice vote. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />None. <br />NEW BUSINESS — PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />721 La Farge Avenue Demolition: A request to demolish the existing residential structure <br />at 721 La Farge Avenue. The subcommittee recommended that the Commission hear this <br />request because they found probable cause to believe that the property may be eligible <br />for designation as a landmark. <br />• Applicant/Owner: Roy Krughoff <br />• Case Manager: Lauren Trice <br />Cyndi Thomas asked for recusals from the Commission. <br />Ulm stated that the applicant was a contractor for Ulm's home, but that he did not feel that <br />constituted a conflict. <br />Trice stated that the request was to demolish the two structures on the La Farge lot, a house <br />and a garage. The house was built in 1890 and was part of Tte Winkler/Dionigi family for <br />seventy-two years, from 1918 to 1990. John "Ring" Dionigi was a prominent citizen, <br />running the town as its primary administrator during the 1940s and 1950s.
