Call to Order <br />Laura called the meeting to order at 7:08 pm. <br />IL Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: Laura Scott Denton, Helen Moshak Missy Davis, Mike <br />Schantz, Jim Gibb, Fiona Garvin, David Blankinship, Peter Gowen <br />Board Members Absent: None <br />City Council Members Present: Jeff Lipton <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br />Peter moved to approve the agenda as written. Missy seconded. The motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />IV. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br />Mike requested a correction to Item VII in March minutes (page 19 of packet): Response <br />to question about Davidson Mesa Dogs Off Leash Area should read "Direction from council was <br />not to proceed with consideration of any permanent closure as an option for the DOLA." <br />Peter moved to approve the minutes with the aforementioned change(s). Jim seconded. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />V. Staff Updates— Ember <br />A. Harney-Lasoka event report: 400-500 people attended; farm stand sold out in <br />about 1 hour. Boulder County and City of Lafayette participated as well. Soil <br />savvy class had 21 attendees. Laura asked if Harney Lastoka will be an annual <br />event. Ember reported that this is possible but the joint owners will likely want to <br />consider a range of opportunities for education at this location. <br />B. Catherine Jepson & Chris Lichty went to Louisville Middle School to speak to 4 <br />classes (120 kids) about Colorado ecology & local trees. The Living with Coyotes <br />presentation at Coal Creek Elementary School was well received.
