o Firm will invite "Finalists" to the interview process. <br />o Interview process will involve Board Members, City Manager, City Staff, <br />and others as determined. <br />o City Manager will choose the candidate based on feedback from all in the <br />interview process. <br />o Offer is made to a Finalist and hiring date is established. <br />Tentative Time Frame for LMS Hiring Process - can be adjusted if desired. <br />• Publish RFP March 21, 2018 <br />• Request responses from Executive Search Firms by April 16, 2018 <br />• Review proposals and make recommendation to City Council to hire a selected <br />firm at the May 1, 2018 City Council Meeting <br />• Work with Firm to determine desired qualities and skills of ideal candidate during <br />May. <br />• Publish recruitment brochure and begin active recruiting June 1 - June 30. <br />• Review candidates with Review committee during second week of July (due to <br />July 4th holiday) - July 9 <br />• Invite candidates for interview process - typically give candidates 2 weeks notice <br />• Interview process tentatively scheduled for week of July 23 <br />• Offer made by end of July and a hiring date is established in August- if candidate <br />is from out of state, moving and hiring date can take about a month. <br />In the Interim <br />• Becky Campbell is the Interim Library Director <br />• Kristine Bodine is the Interim Library Services Manager <br />• Lindsay Huth is the Interim Children's Library Supervisor <br />• Krista Kountz is the 6 month temporary children's librarian <br />
