Louisville Local Licensing Aud~ori~ <br />Meeting Date: February 25, 2002 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />The following items on the Local Licensing Authority Agenda are considered routine by the Authority and <br />the consent agenda as a whole shall be approved not as individual items, accepted, etc. by motion of the <br />Authority and roll call vote unless the Local Licensing Authority or Authority Member specifically requests <br />that such item be considered under "Authority Business". In such an event the item shall be removed <br />from the "Consent Calendar" and the Authority action taken separately on said item in the order <br />appearing on the Agenda. Those items so approved under the heading "Consent Calendar" will appear in <br />the Authority minutes in their proper order. <br /> <br />Corporate Report of Changes - President Change, Cono-Services, Inc., d/b/a <br />Conoco #06442 - 3.2% Beer Retail License (Off Premises) - 520 McCaslin Blvd. <br /> <br />Corporate Report of Changes/Manager Registration - Hotel & Restaurant Liquor <br />License - RT Denver Franchise LP (RT Colorado LLC & RT Denver LP) d/b/a <br />Ruby Tuesday #2169 - 994 W. Dillon Road. <br /> <br />Corporate Report of Changes/Manager Registration - Club Liquor License - Tri <br />City Elks Lodge #2541, d/b/a Tri-City Elks #2541 - 525 Main Street. <br /> <br />Corporate Report of Changes - Dillon Companies, Inc., d/b/a King Soopers #13 - <br />3.2% Retail Beer (Off Premises) Liquor License - 1375 S. Boulder Road. <br /> <br />Member Kimmett moved to approve the amended agenda. Member Sackett seconded <br />the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton-yes, Koertje-yes, Kimmett-yes, Sackett-yes, Paige- <br />yes. All members were in favor, motion carried. <br /> <br />AUTHORITY BUSINESS <br /> <br />Show Cause Hearing - Celtic Way, LTD, d/b/a Druids Arms - Tavern Liquor <br />License - 809 Main Street. <br /> <br />Chairperson Lipton called the Show Cause Hearing to Order. Present at the <br />proceedings were Mark Shapiro, Prosecutor for the City, and Ms. Avril Charnley, <br />the owner of Druids Arms. Mr. Shapiro stated that he would like to request a <br />dismissal of the charges and stated the basis of that decision. <br /> <br />Mr. Shapiro interviewed all parties involved in the incident and came to the <br />conclusion that the intoxicated party, contacted by Officer Jessica Steele, had <br />been drinking at home prior to going to Druids Arms. The bartender at Druids <br />Arms stated that the two men did not appear to be intoxicated and only had one <br />drink each. Two credible witnesses corroborated the story. <br /> <br />Member Paige made a motion to dismiss the charges. Member Kimmett <br />seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote: Lipton-yes, Koertje-yes, Kimmett-yes, <br />Sackett-yes, Paige-yes.
