Louisville Local Licensing Authority
Meeting Date: June 24, 2002

POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT

A. Incident Report - Outback Steakhouse (5/10/02)

Member Paige was concerned that persons prohibited may have been served
alcohol.

Detective Gordanier informed the Authority that the PBT taken that night was four
hours after the incident happened.

The Authority thought there was not enough evidence to go forward with a Show
Cause Order but were concerned that a person may have been over served.
The Authority decided to draft a letter regarding this matter and asked for a
response in writing or in person to be submitted for the next meeting.

B. Incident Report - Druids Arms (05/27/02)

The Authority determined no liquor violations had occurred.

C. Incident Report - Via Toscana (06/01/02)

Detective Gordanier stated that as soon as it was discovered that the patron was
intoxicated, the liquor was taken away from the individual. Chairperson Lipton
wondered if a letter should be sent commending their action. Attorney Harrington
discouraged sending a letter that might give the impression that an establishment
can over serve and then come up with a plan of action to rectify the situation.

The Authority determined no liquor violations had occurred.

D. Incident Report - Gentleman Jim's (06/04/02)

The Authority determined no liquor violations had occurred. The incident
involved non-payment of liquor served.

Detective Gordanier informed the Authority that she, along with Detective
Lanphere, would be conducting liquor inspections of all liquor establishments in
Louisville. She stated that it takes about two weeks to complete all the
inspections.

SECRETARY'S REPORT

A.
